About the Author

What's in a name? My first name is Mark and I like to draw and write. My last name is Batalla and I'm more than willing to battle and struggle to accomplish my goals. Funny how that worked out. I'm on an ongoing journey to somehow make a viable career out of these inherent characteristics. None of that starving artist business for me. I'm a hungry man. See that picture of me on the left with the giant burger? Yes, that burger is/was really that big. It took me less than 24 hours to eat that monster. That's how hungry I am to succeed.

About the Site

As of this writing, the site is made up of the most basic of HTML. It represents my ever growing knowledge of web programming. This site will continue to develop in coding efficiency and design alongside my knowledge of such subject matter. I'm currently streamlining it offline with CSS. From there I'll move on to PHP, XML, Flash, etc. I can't believe I didn't learn this stuff earlier. I thirst for more knowledge on the subject matter. See that picture of me on the right with all the drinks? No, I did not consume them all simultaneously. But consume them I did. That's how thirsty I am for knowledge.
